I'm a designer and developer, based in Glasgow, Scotland.
I've worked in various web, design and tech roles for the past nine years. So get in touch if you have a job that calls for a guy like me.
Work aside, I have an educational background in philosophy, I'm a bit of a wanderer, a musician and a biker.
My work philosophy
I build simple, intuitive, and responsive web applications. I keep the bells and whistles to a minimum—enough to provide a little flair, but never enough to distract. I keep my code robust, lean, and as semantic as possible.
I aim to be as communicative as possible throughout the whole process, as I've always found that it's the best way to ensure a great outcome.
Your web presence and your business should be working in harmony to deliver positive results. For me, the most important part of the creative process is developing a strong understanding of your business, your brand, and your end goals. Only then can I create solutions that are truly geared towards your needs.
When working as a freelancer, I'm ideally placed to offer agency standards at a competitive price—simply because I don't have the overheads an agency has. I leverage open-source solutions where appropriate, leaving me free to focus on results instead of re-inventing the wheel.
If you're interested in having a chat about your next project, please get in touch now. If you're fairly local, we can meet for a coffee. If not, there's always Skype.
